Will UFOs Help Hillary?
The other day I
received three new FOIA replies from the Clinton presidential library. They were all
for more files from Hillary Clinton’s first lady files during the Bill Clinton White
House days.
I was informed that
the library would be reviewing 700 photos from the Hillary Clinton files related to a
close friend of the Clintons – singer Carly Simon, who I found has at least a passing
interest in UFOs. I was also told that the library would be reviewing 400 pages of
Hillary files related to “outer space and NASA.” I hoped that the subject of UFOs
might been included, because after all Hillary had wanted to be an astronaut when she
was young, and Bill Clinton said she had a deep interest in outer space. The final
request was for Hillary files related to evangelist Billy Graham who in his book “Angels:
God's Secret Agents” described his belief that
UFOs were angels of God. I was told 650 photographs would be reviewed for release.
The
FOIA requests were numbered 2007- 1756 to 1758 which means there are 1755 requests
ahead of me for 2007 alone. Considering not one of my 2006 requests has been completed
I will be lucky to see these new FOIAs before I die.
The
slow process for the release of FOIA requests is much worse than most people realize
The National Security Archives at the George Washington University in Washington, for
example just put out a paper, titled
40 Years of FOIAs, 20 Years of Delays, describing now many unprocessed FOIAs now
date back 20 years in some agencies. For those of us who want answers to the UFO
mystery this delay is a calamity, but for people like Hillary running for president
this might be a godsend.
Consider the fact that I have over 5 dozen FOIA requests from 2006 involving
discovered records that have still must be “processed and reviewed for access” and
then the library must “notify the representatives of the former President and the
incumbent President prior to release.” Almost 30,000 pages will be under review.
So how
does this help Hillary? Well, there are many who feel Hillary has some skeletons in
the closet, and they want these skeletons exposed in public prior to the November 2008
election. One of these is Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates
and prosecutes government corruption. On April 5, 2006 they filed for
“First Lady Hillary
Rodham Clinton’s calendar, to include but not limited to her daily office diary,
schedule, day planner, telephone log book, and chronological file.”
Now Judicial Watch has
filed a lawsuit claiming
“Judicial Watch
has a clear statutory right to have the Library search for and produce all non-exempt
records responsive to its April 5, 2206 FOIA request within the time frame required by
the [law]. The Library also is required to produce an index of any responsive records
it seeks to withhold from Judicial Watch under the claim of exemption. Although more
than 15 months have passed since Judicial Watch served its request, the Library has
failed to do either.”
The problem is this
is that the UFO guy is first. All of my 60+ requests must be processed prior to
Judicial Watch. I filed all my requests in late February 2006 over a month before the
Judicial Watch FOIA filing. As the Supervisory Archivist at the Clinton Presidential
Library Melissa Walker told me,
All FOIA requests
throughout the NARA system are treated, as the law requires, on a first-in, first-out
basis, which means that as requests are received they are filed in queues based on the
date, size and complexity of the request.
Therefore Judicial
Watch will have to wait for all the UFO questions to be answered first, before they
are allowed to rehash Whitewater, coffeegate, travelgate, filegate, and Oval Office
oral sex.
The UFO answers will
not harm Hillary, because the story that will be revealed will be a simple attempt by
the Clinton administration to get the answers to the mysteries of UFOs, and to get an
answer to the 1947 Roswell crash. It was in response to a lobbying effort by
billionaire philanthropist Laurence Rockefeller to get openness and disclosure which
failed.
Considering the fact
that not one of my requests has been processed, it is inconceivable that the Judicial
Watch FOIA will be processed in time to make its findings an election issue. Had I not
filed my many requests, the Judicial Watch FOIA might have been processed by election
time, and it might have cost Hillary her possible return to the White House.
Hillary Clinton owes the UFO world a big thank you. If she becomes President, hopefully she will remember us when we ask for her help in the “formal acknowledgement by the world's governments of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the planet.” |
