Reagan and the Clinton Library
November 21, 2007
Just got two FOIAs yesterday from the Reagan Library. It appears I filed a couple FOIAs when I was researching at the Reagan Library.
One is dated 7/16/02, and it is for selected folders from the Coordination Office of the NSC collection. 492 pages in total/ 246 withheld.
The other is dated 7/17/02. It must be even better stuff because of 392 pages all withheld except for 72 pages. The files I asked for are from the Sven Kraemer collection whoever the hell he is.
Such is the world of FOIAs. By the time they process it most is withheld, but it doesn't much matter because you can't even remember what the hell the request was about.
Those conservatives who think they will get the goods on Hillary from the Clinton Library before the election are dreaming.

Hillary and the UFO Question
November 17, 2007
Hillary and the UFO Question
Ever since Tim Russert asked Dennis Kucinich the "did you see a UFO" question during the October 30 Democratic Presidential Debate, there have been a flurry of UFO questions to other White House hopefuls.
Barack Obama, for example, was asked moments after Kucinich if he believed there was life in outer space. He carefully evaded by saying, "I believe there is life on Earth."
Bill Richardson, the governor of Roswell has faced the UFO question many times during this Presidential campaign partly because a few years back he wrote a forward to a book about an archeological dig done in New Mexico looking for evidence of the rumored 1947 flying saucer that crashed outside of Roswell, New Mexico. He has replied to all the UFO questions by saying that he doesn't believe in UFOs, but thinks the government did not release all the material on the 1947 crash, and is all in favor of the tourism that the UFO subject has brought to Roswell.
John McCain, in reply to a question if he had ever seen one said he'd never seen one, "but I keep looking all the time." Joe Biden told CNN's...

Two Steps Forward - One Step Back
November 10, 2007
The date is November 9, 2007. We have just passed the 60 year anniversary of when UFOs became a United States government public relations problem.
The scene on November 9th looked promising. Thanks to a UFO questions posed to presidential campaigners Dennis Kucinich and Bill Richardson the UFO issue was now being discussed by media all over the United States. Not only was it being discussed, it was being done in a tone that was not quite as condescending as in the past.
The future looked bright. On November 12, there was going to be news conference at the National Press Club in Washington where high ranking pilots and officials from around the world would be telling their stories of UFO encounters.
The Clinton Library had just released 18 Freedom of Information Act Requests related to files from the Bill Clinton White House files. The release was a big story because Hillary Clinton was still the front runner to be the next U.S. president and some of these FOIAs were her files from the Clinton White House. Then the word came out; 12 of the released FOIAs were related to the Clinton White House role in trying to get...

Carter Denies UFO Tales
November 6, 2007
Well he did it.
Jimmy Carter has now indirectly denied 70% of everything I have written about him on my Presidential UFO website. The stunning Carter interview can be found on the New England Skeptical Society Website.
http://www.theskepticsguide.org/skepticsguide/podcastinfo.asp?pid=105
At first this sounds like the death of Carter Presidential Ufology, but after careful reflection, it has become an opportunity to go back to the sources who first gave me the stories. They include heavyweights just like Jimmy Carter including prominent civil rights attorney Danny Sheehan and actress Shirley MacLaine. Like Carter they are not easily accessible and haven’t really flaunted their UFO connection to Jimmy Carter.
The Carter denials also now give weight to people like Dr. Steven Greer and his disclosure witnesses who have always maintained President Carter was out of the loop on the UFO secret.
What at first sounds like disaster could end up being like a Saturday night battle of the Titans which might actually get us closer to the truth.
A new series of research requests has begun to get the answers. I can hardly wait.
