Abduction Conditioning PDF Print E-mail

liftedPIXAR's "Lifted" is released. Last night, June 30th, I sat in a full theatre of kids to see the new 5 minute short just released by Disney/PIXAR Animation Studios. It is the story of an alien in training, as he attempts his first abduction of a human sleeping in the upstairs of a lonely country house. While his alien instructor agonized in pain over what was happening, the kids in the theatre roared with laughter at every move. The piece was amazingly funny, and it led me to carefully watch the reaction of the children around me. Would they now be willing to accept abduction as just another part of life to be laughed at, rather than the terror that has been used so often in UFO abduction books to describe the phenomena? My conclusion - they loved it and so will you. Be sure to see it along with Ratatouile which is the movie it proceeds.

UFOs in 2008 Election PDF Print E-mail

bigbirdAs of yet UFOs have not become a part of the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Issues still centre on the war in Iraq, and domestic issues that affect daily well being.

Having been in the election trenches many times in the past Hillary Clinton has become religious about the issues that will give her the disenchanted Republican votes needed to win in a close election. Having headed up health care reform in the first Clinton administration she knows good ideas don't always fly, and might even loose voting support.

She and her spin doctors have focused their 2008 election discussion on such issues as immigration reform and border security. This will attract the Republicans who feel the President has not dealt with outsiders taking away American jobs.

Do not be fooled. Elections are about votes - not issues.
